About Us
Trinity Engineering was founded in 1980 by Bruce Omholt. In 1964 Omholt received his BSME while living in San Francisco. Omholt gained considerable design and manufacturing experience during the next sixteen years while working for Repco Engineering Inc., Ford Motor Company, EF Hauserman Company and American Seating Company.
Omholt wanted to bring together people with multiple skills—people who were not just cutters or welders, but who were capable of seeing projects as a whole. Thus, Trinity was started in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1980 and moved to Rohnert Park, California, in 1981.
Trinity currently employs eighteen skilled engineers, designers, cabinet makers, painters, glass workers and metal workers. Our services have been used in contract furniture, interior lighting and manufacturing. Over the last twenty years, we have focused on custom fixtures for the retail merchandising market.
Trinity Engineering is located in an 18,000 square foot plant located in Rohnert Park, California. The team at Trinity is capable of engineering and building anything that can be imagined. Because we work across many disciplines, Trinity is capable of solving any design issue prior to fabrication. We work with a wide array of materials including wood, metal, glass, acrylic, fiberglass, foam, extrusions, laminates, veneers and solid surfacing materials.
Trinity Engineering is a single source of design, engineering and fabrication—working with a cross section of materials and manufacturing processes. It is a source that will take the responsibility of providing a completed end product.
